Argyle Baby Shower

I have always loved the argyle pattern for girls or boys and I think it would make a wonderful baby shower theme.

I would have an argyle table cloth in either blue or pink for a boy or girl and I would Also try to find argyle pattern napkins and plates/cups to match , the silverware would be either blue or pink depending on the babies gender, or yellow for a surprise.

There would also be argyle place settings with name tags for the guests, as well as a gift bag in argyle filled with goodies.

I would get baby argyle socks and use those as decorations for the wall, along with large argyle design paper cutouts (or diamond cutouts.)

The centerpiece on the table would be either blue or pink marbles in a glass vase and I would tie argyle ribbon around the neck of the vase.

One of the shower games would be to guess how many marbles are in the vase.

The cake would be frosted in the appropriate color and would have an argyle border around it.

Also argyle scrap booking embellishments make great cake decorations and the mother to be can use them in their scrapbook to commemorate the baby shower.
