Baby Shower Favor - Baby shell cradles

I had bought some Mussels in the shells at the store for dinner, and after we ate them, I decided to wash them out and dry them as I KNEW I would be able to come up with some Baby Shower idea for them.

I wound up spray painting the outside and inside white, and letting them dry real good.

Then I cut out pink and blue felt ovals in the shape and size of the inside of one of the sides of the shell. I hot glued one color inside each and then I bought tiny 1 inch babies from Hobby Lobby (20 for $1.99) and hot glued its little back side and laid it in on top of the felt. Voila! Instant Baby in a Shell Cradle!!!

They are so cute and can be given as favors to each guest, or used as Decorations on tables. You could type up little "Thank you for attending" tags and attach them if you want to.
