Babys Room Cake

I covered a 10 by 3in. round cake with a thin layer off butter cream icing.

The bed skirt was made of fondant colored pink cut 3in. deep the edges were scalloped with the pie cutter.

The second skirt was made the same way. The skirts were attached to the cake with icing.

I used a lace cutter to make impressions in the fondant. The cake board was covered in white fondant using the pie cutter to scalloped the edges.

the canopy is made with floral wire covered in fondant mixed with gum paste let dried over night then, painted with super pearl.

The crown made with gum paste and fondant.I made pearls to go around the crown.

Painted the tip of the crown with gold luster. The bear I made of gum paste and fondant free handed.

The little dress was also made of fondant I used a lace cutter to get the dress lace impressions. The little bows and toys were made of gum paste.

The little shoes was made of a patten that was given to me.

In making the baby's shoes I used the same lace patten with pink fondant under the toe part of the shoe that showed through. The cake board is 16in. round trimmed with ribbon.
