Binky Baby Shower Theme Ideas

Baby Face Cupcake

I hosted a baby shower for my sister a while back with a binky theme.

Instead of corsages we handed out binky necklaces to the guests made out of lifesavers and jelly beans tied on to blue ribbon.

My sister got the largest one being the guest of honor.

The baby shower cupcakes I did were of a baby's face with binkies in their mouths.

We did this by taking melted chocolate and pouring small dots of it onto waxed paper.

We then stood a lifesaver standing up in the chocolate and let it set.

When placed on the cupcakes it looked like a binky was coming out of the babies mouth.

I also made her a cake:
For her cake I made a giant binky from melting chocolates.

I used a ball pan for the binky part and the handle by pouring chocolate into a 6" round pan.

Then we just decorated the sides with blue and yellow shaped chocolates to match the binky.

We had various items sitting on the tables, from toy binkies to baby bottle pop candy.

You could expand on this idea to include other items or do a baby bottle party, for example.
