Cute Butterfly Cake Made From Diapers
This soft, pink "Butterfly Cake" was submitted by Dawn from Williamstown, NJ. She made the diaper cake for her daughter's baby shower. Not only is the cake adorable, but the table and decorations are too! Everything is colored coordinated and perfect! Here are Dawn's tips on how she assembled her diaper cake: First, roll several disposable diapers and wrap them with rubber bands so they are secure. Next, tie a pretty pink satin ribbon around each tier to secure them. Add cute pink rose buds. (Note: you can use any color you would like - pink for a girl, blue for a boy, yellow or green for neutral - in case the gender is unknown) Then, add several baby items such as matching baby bottles, bibs, booties, lotion, nail clippers, a baby brush, and a matching hanging butterfly musical toy.

Diapers cakes are so practical and they really do make the perfect gift for a new mom! When you decide to make a diaper cake, the easiest way to get organized is to:1) Plan the color scheme 2) Gather a shopping list for all of the items you are going to need (including diapers, ribbon, baby supplies and fillers such as rattles, stuffed animals, booties, etc) 3) Once you get all of the needed items, lay everything out in front of you and begin to assemble the diaper cake.
