By the Sea Baby Shower Cake

I made this 'By the Sea Baby Shower Cake' for a friends baby shower. I made a 6" cake covered in fondant. I made a baby out of fondant and had him sleeping on some seashells. I made seashells out of white and blue chocolates.

I used the Wilton seashell molds. I made 100....oh my gosh...too many :)....cupcakes to match. They were iced in blue and white frosting.

special deal for our readers!

I made the cake stand myself. I took cake boards (about 6) and covered them in tissue paper and then cellophane. I used a 16" 12" 10" & 8" round. I hot glued everything together with 2 6" cake dummies in between the layers.
