Diaper Party Favors

I bought a box of plain white diapers, and bought some blue, and pink lace and used tacky glue, and just tacked the lace on top of the diapers, all the way around the top.

Then I put a pink or blue bow under the lace in center on front of diaper.

Using sticky numbers, I placed one on each diaper for guests to win a door prize.

After the shower was over every guest placed the diapers in a basket, then the new mom just removed the lace and bow, and had a bunch of extra diapers, for her new baby!

I make trim for the diapers with pretty bias strips --I use baby fabric--but store bought bias tape works well too. Any bright fabric will do....Mom gets a number of burp clothes to use after the baby arrives--and any Mom knows there are NEVER enough of those around. Continue the project as instructed--but Mom doesn't have to remove any hot glue or lace--ready to use--and with the fabric trim on them--they are soft and babies love to look at the colors while on Mom's shoulder!!
