This is two 12x18 inch cakes put together on a full sheet board. I wrapped the board with baby shower wrapping paper and then put wax paper on top before placing the two cakes on top. I used Wilson recipe butter cream and tinted it light pink and iced the entire cake. With another batch of icing I tinted
some yellow and some light green and some dark pink and some lavender. I placed the four corner toys in the corners leaving room on the edges for roses. The booties in the front right corner are made from marshmallows and then covered with light pink icing with tip #16.The bows are tip #2 dark pink.
I used the top of a shortening can cut in half to mark lines for the clothes line. I piped the clothes line with a number two tip. The clothes are all piped with a number two tip.
I piped onesies, diapers, dresses, pants,
shorts, booties, bibs and shirts.
The clothes appear attached to the line with white icing piped with #2 tip.
Next I placed the baby in the center and used
tip #104 to pipe the blanket over the baby and smoothed it with a small spatula. Then piped polka dots with tip #2 and fringe on the edges with tip #233 (Grass tip).
Then I piped the flowers. The roses are with #102 and #104. The daisies are tip 104 and 102
also.
The other flowers are tip #5 and the leaves are tip #67.
The bottom border is tip #18 reverse shell pattern. The writing is with tip #2.
