invitation verse

We really wanted a variety of things so I picked out a few things on my registry that I just truly wanted, but only a few, I wanted the ladies to use their imagination and experience to pick out their gifts. So here is the poem I came up with...

(NAME) and (NAME) are having a baby,
The crib has been picked,
As well as the basics,
And they want you to pick out your favorites,

Shirts, and pants,
Bottles, and bibs,
From hats to booties, and maybe a Teddy
Of course, some soft 'n fuzzy blankets,
Best is what you think,
But (NAME) has a request,
"Please, don't put me in pink!!"
