Mommy Baby Shower

The best baby shower I ever attended was mine and it was a celebration of the Mom-to-be, me.
All the guests were requested to attend ‘pregnant’, i.e., pillows stuffed up jumpers, etc. and to bring a plate of food that they had craved while pregnant (or for non-moms, something they imagined you might crave when you’re pregnant).
The room was decorated with pictures of the Mom throughout her life from tots, to teen, to now – all as sweet and embarrassing as could be.
The games included a quiz about the Mom herself, the chance to tell sweet/funny stories about her and, of course, the 24 hour present baby shower game - where each attendee was assigned an hour of the day and was asked to bring something they thought the new mom might need at that hour, e.g., coffee at 6:00am, bath crème for 8:00pm and earplugs at 11:00pm!
It was a great party. Mom-to-be was left feeling very special and happy.
