Monkey Diaper Cake

This Monkey diaper cake is jungle themed since the mommy-to-be has decorated the baby's room with monkeys.

It is three tiered, uses 80 newborn sized diapers. For the base I just used a plastic serving dish that you can buy at the dollar store.

In the center (to stabalize the tiers) I have a bottle brush I started with the bottom tier, rolled the diapers up and rubber banded them around the bottle brush.

Then I wrapped the bottom tiers in receiving blankets. Topped it off with a plush monkey and used coordinating ribbon to secure each tier(in addition to several rubber bands).

Hidden inbetween the diapers are passies, rattles, travel sized lotions, shampoos, and baby powder.
