Pink & Lime Sorbet Diaper Cake Pink & Lime Sorbet Diaper Cake I started with the bottom tier. I wrapped each diaper individually with rubber bands. I made a circle of diapers around a lotion bottle. I put a rubber band around the outside of the layer. Then repeated the same steps for a second and third layer to complete the bottom tier. For the second tier I continued to wrap the first layer around the lotion bottle for the first tier. This time repeating the steps only two times. With the space remaining in the second tier I added a 6oz baby bottle and wrapped the diapers around that. For a topper I hot glued another bottle to the top tiers. I covered all the rubber bands with streamer paper before the ribbon (to hide the rubber bands). I used the ribbon for the tiers. It was too thin so I hot glued two pieces together and added a more decorative piece for the middle of all the tiers. I added paper confetti and little decorations along with the miniature baby items. I added flowers for the topper. It was a hit and fun to make...This was my first one!
