This is a polka dot cake I made for my sister's baby shower.

I made two layers each for the bottem and middle tier and one for the top.

It is all frosted with buttercream frosting dyed baby blue.

The polka dots are made out of fondant and to top everything off I added yellow gerber daisies.

It was a HUGE hit and it tasted great too - which is what everyone wants in the end. :)

What a great Idea. I love the poka dots and I'm sure Miles loved it to. To have a aunt like you, is a dream come true, and a poka dot desert well thats the iceing on the cake. A beautiful cake and a great job.

AWESOME CAKE!!!!!!
Would like to try and make this one.
I like it because it is not a traditional looking baby shower cake, which would make it special.
