"POP" Corn Favors
I made these for my baby shower. I wanted something unique and different and something that was personalized to show guests that I appreciated them sharing the day with me and helping my husband and I in preparing for our daughters arrival.
What you'll need:
- Boxed Pop Corn Individually Wrapped
- Colored Printer Paper In Your Choice Of Color
- Ribbon (Small Or Large Width Your Choice)
- Craft Scissors
- Tape
- Hole Punch
We used the fraze "Thank You For Helping My Mommy And Daddy Prepare For When I "POP" Into The World" but there are many catchy frazes that you could come up with such as "Mary Is About To "POP" depending on what your prefer. Once you've choosen a fraze find the font you would like to use and print the fraze in the center of the sheet of paper (it will take one sheet of paper per pop corn baggie). After printed use craft scissors to cut each side of the paper to the same size of the pop corn bag (width wise) once cut tape the end of the paper to the back side of the pop corn baggie leaving the plastic on each bag so it remains fresh making sure that the wording appears on the front side in the middle of the bag, now flip the bag over use your hand to fold the paper over the top and make a small crese where the paper will bend once you wrap it completly around after youve made the crese then take your hole punch and make two holes about and inch apart at the top of the paper for the bows to thread through, after youve punched the holes place a small piece of tape over them on the front and back and punch the holes again this prevents the paper from tearing when putting your thread through. After your holes are done run your ribbon through, flip your baggies over and wrap the remaining paper around and tape it in the back. Flip it back over and tie your bow. And you've got a quick guest favor that's sure to please..
Hope you enjoy,
Best Wishes
