You will need: baby bear cake pan, 8' square & 10' pan single layers the cake white/yellow cake 2c. sugar, 4 eggs beat til fluffy,1 c. oil, 1c. water add to eggs splash vanilla, 3 c. flour, 2t baking powder blend til smooth fill pans, beat at 350 til done cool completely along with the cake for the bear it needs to be a heavy white cake so it can stand the frosting butter cream frosting 1 # butter, 2/3 c white Crisco, any flavoring beat til super smooth stop add 2# 10 xx sugar (powdered) cover with saran wrap and turn on slowly some milk may be need to thin out use your judgment. the cheating i cheat and buy store bought fondant definitely make ribbon, bow n the eyes for the bear the night b4, then they will b hard enough to stand up on the cake mean while roll out yellow curly ribbons a lot just when u think ur done do more. also roll out circles i used 3 different colors i made a pink bow with the left over circles and any of the other left overs i cut up into more ribbons it turn out to b a nice filler. the present cakes frosting these cakes i made a basic present cake i used two card boards for the single layered cake and did polka dots n set aside the bear the baby bear i actually followed the directions that come with the pans and believe it or not they were right, even down to the amount of frosting to use. so use them or just wing it as u feel comfortable. one thing i did find out handy is that i kept in the core of the bear cake mold, it help stand the cake up in place. so put it all together and good luck!!
