Real Mini Palm Trees Baby Shower Favors

I am doing a "Beach" theme for my daughter's baby shower and to go along with the theme, I am giving live mini palm trees.

Of course they will be "dressed" up with ribbon and thank you cards! I wanted to give our guests something they could enjoy for years to come, and of course environmentally friendly!

The beach theme for any party is my all time favorite! I make a shallow bowl of blue jello to look like water and surround it with brown sugar for sand! Place little drink umbrellas in the sand.

You can also buy Hawaiian or beach scrapbook paper for dozens of things. Some ideas are:

*Placemats
*Cut into strips and use for napkin rings
*Wrap strips around cups
*Wrap around pillar candles

Make some blue punch and float little plastic fish in it. Add little surfboards too. Hang a small toy fishing pole from the edge of the bowl!
