All-Star Sports Diaper Cake
I made this All-Star Sports Diaper Cake for my cousin's baby shower which was sports themed.
I used approximately 50 size 1 diapers for all 3 tiers. The diapers were rolled up and secured with a small rubber band; the bottom tier was placed around a canister about the size of a container of oatmeal and held together with a large rubber band. I then placed a piece of cardboard with a hole cut out of it on top of the bottom tier to place the next tier upon and put another, but smaller container in the center to hold the shape. I repeated that for the top and final tier. I then covered all of the tiers with white tissue paper (I was unable to find all white diapers), put ribbons around each tier and decorated until I achieved the look I was trying to obtain. I think it was not too bad for someone who didn't even know what a diaper cake was a week ago!
