Baby Shower Ideas, Decorations & Supplies

• Decorate with festive sports plates, napkins, cups, etc. Pick your favorite sport!


• Float tons of festive balloons all around!
• Have a BBQ and serve some "game food" hamburgers, hot dogs,potato salad, macaroni salad and baked beans
• You can also have a tailgate party! On the invitations write: Celebrating the newest "Cougar Fan" (insert favorite team)/Coaches: (parents)/Wear Cougar attire or be doused with Gatorade!
• Have a game playing on TV in the background
• Conduct a "baby pool" and have guests guess what day/time the baby will be born
• Serve pretzels, chips and nuts in football shaped bowls (found at party supply stores)
• Have plenty of Gatorade on hand
• Be sure to visit your local dollar store - they usually have great party supply items and there may be some cool sports stuff too!
• For prizes hand out whistles, nerf footballs, stop watches, peanuts, beer mugs, baseball hats
• Buy some play basketball hoops (the kind that stick to doors and come with a Nerf ball)
