The LiL Prince Cake

The LiL Prince Cake

This is a 2ft tall vanilla bean pound cake.This cake consisted of 3 (8inch round cakes) and 3(6inch round cakes) and 1 ball cake for his head (wilton's ball cake pan).

The cake was sculpted, iced, and covered with fondant.The Lil Prince wears a white shirt with cuffs, blue pants with suspenders and sneakers(the sneakers were made from gumpaste and hand painted with red icing colors).

He wears a gold crown on his head that i made from pastilliage and painted the crown with gold highlighter mixed with lemon extract and a princely robe(made from fondant) with animal print fur collar completes his royality.

He holds a bottle in his hand, at his feet i made blocks of his name out of fondant (which reads Prince Tazir). This cake was the hit of the baby shower, the new prince arrived just 2days after the shower.

This cake is so incredibly cute. And i love that the "prince" has a little bottle and even alphabet cubes to spell his name. Adorable. I would like to see more from this cake artist.
