WELCOME LITTLE MONKEY CAKE
The base was a vanilla 14x14x3 square filled with strawberries, dirty iced in butter cream and covered in fondant. The circles were fondant as well. The monkey was a vanilla cake, no filling. I used the Wilton monkey pan. I star tipped it in brown dyed butter cream. His face is made of fondant. I took the impression from the pan by pressing the fondant into it. I used favor sized pacifier and rattle to add that special baby touch. The baby was a boy, so I chose blue. I made the message out of blue and white marbled fondant.
