How this all started

Back in 2003, my sister was expecting twins and I volunteered to plan her baby shower. I was determined to make it special - so I bought every party planning book I could find, made multiple trips to craft stores, and filled notebooks with ideas for games, decorations, favors, and food.

By the time the shower arrived, I had so many ideas left over that I couldn't bear to let them disappear. So I built a little website to share them. That was CutestBabyShowers.com - and over 21 years later, I'm still here, still planning, and still completely obsessed with making baby showers as fun and memorable as possible.

Why you can trust my ideas

I'm not a blogger who stumbled into party planning. I'm a mom of two grown kids and a grandma to two little granddaughters, and I've been hosting and helping plan baby showers for friends and family for as long as I can remember. I've seen what works in real rooms with real guests - the games people actually enjoy, the favors that don't end up in the trash, the themes that photograph beautifully and are actually doable on a budget.

My most popular theme of all time? The woodland baby shower. There's something about those soft greens, woodland creatures, and earthy textures that guests absolutely fall in love with - and I've got everything you need to pull it off, right here on the site.

Everything on this site comes from real experience - not just research. I share free printable baby shower games, DIY decoration ideas, favor inspiration, food and punch recipes, themed party guides, and a printable game pack that hosts across the country have downloaded for their own showers. If I haven't personally tried it or seen it done beautifully, I don't recommend it.

My goal has always been the same: take the stress out of planning so you can actually enjoy the day. Whether you're a first-time host or the designated shower planner in your friend group, I want you to feel totally prepared - and maybe even excited.
