I know this is a common one - but it is ALWAYS popular whenever I host or attend a baby shower.
Baby Shower Bingo is such a fun way to keep guests engaged during gift opening, and it adds makes guests feel at ease and people begin to interact with each other.
To play Baby Shower Bingo, you'll need to create bingo cards with baby-related items. You can either make your own or find printable versions online. Each card should have a grid with different baby items like onesies, diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and so on.
Before the shower, hand out the bingo cards and some markers or pens to your guests. As the mom-to-be opens her gifts, guests mark off the items on their cards. The first person to get five in a row (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally) shouts "Bingo!" and wins a prize.
Recently, at my friend Sarah's baby shower, we had so much fun playing this game. It kept everyone entertained during the gift opening (which can sometimes be long,) and it was so much fun to see who would get bingo first. The game was played throughout the entire gift opening portion of the shower to allow for a few winners. The winners got fun things like scented candles, coffee gift cards and cute notebooks.
One tip: make sure to mix up the items on the bingo cards so that not everyone has the same ones. This keeps the game interesting and ensures that there are multiple chances for someone to win.
There are actually 2 methods this game can be played. You can also play where you hand out blank Baby Bingo cards to each guest and they fill the cards in themselves with gifts they think the mom-to-be will receive. Thn they cross them off as the gifts are opened, and so on.
Baby Shower Bingo is a simple game that everyone can enjoy. It keeps the focus on the gifts and the mom-to-be while adding a fun, competitive bonus!
