Homemade Baby Shower Favor Ideas: DIY Candy Pacifier Instructions
Baby Shower Favors - Candy Pacifiers!
Step-By-Step Instructions For Making Cute Candy Pacifiers ... these little guys make the perfect baby shower favors!
These baby shower pacifiers are simple to make and guests will love them! Give away as cute baby shower favors, use them to play the popular "Don't Say Baby" baby shower game, or serve in candy bowls for guests to snack on and enjoy!
You only need 3 ingredients! Life Savers, White Chocolate & miniature Jelly Beans
These are the brands we used. (someone couldn't wait and opened up the bag early to sneak a few Life Savers!)
For the chocolate, CandiQuik works great - but you can also use white chocolate chips.
Melt the chocolate in 30 second intervals, stirring in between each
one.
You really don't need much chocolate, I used 4 squares to make
about 30 pacifiers.
Dip one side of a Life Saver into the chocolate
Place the Life Saver standing up onto another Life Saver. Let dry.
When they are dry - it's time to add the jelly beans!
Dip one end of a miniature jelly bean into the white chocolate
Place the jelly bean into the middle of the Life Saver. Hold there for a few seconds until set.
Sprinkle
these onto counter tops for cute baby shower decorations - or bundle up
into a little bag and give away as baby shower favors! Enjoy!
DIY Homemade Baby Shower Favors: Paint Can Favor And Gift Ideas
We have created a simple little paint can favor that is perfect for holding:
- Chocolates or candies
- Candles
- Bath beads, little soaps or bath fizzies
- Lotion
- A cute bar of soap wrapped in a washcloth and tied with a cute ribbon
- A $5-10 gift card to a bookstore, coffee shop or iTunes
You
will need a mini paint can which can be found at a craft store,
hardware store or online (try ebay.) You can find them in clear or
galvanized tin
Take the paint can and wrap it in decorative paper
(optional) (We used scrapbook paper ~ they have adorable prints
available!) Cut the paper to fit the can. Attach the paper with tape or a
glue stick.
If your can came with a handle, you can tie several
strips of cute ribbon or fabric around the handle to cuten' it up! This
looks adorable!
Fill the can with some crinkle paper or any cute filling
These can be used for baby shower favors or prizes. To make them extra cute, attach a cute tag with the shower details. Example:
