Wording Idea For A Book-Themed Baby Shower

I wanted to share a fun and creative wording idea that I used for my friend's book-themed baby shower invitations. It added a unique touch to the invites and got everyone excited about the theme.

Here's the wording we used:

"Once upon a time, a baby was on the way!
Join us for a storybook baby shower honoring Mom-to-Be's Name

Date: Date
Time: Time
Location: Location

Please bring a favorite children's book instead of a card. Let's help build baby's first library!"

We printed the invitations on cream card stock and add a cute book-themed clipart design - with little illustrations of storybooks and baby animals. We also added a note asking guests to write a message inside the book they bring, so the baby would have a collection of personalized books to treasure.

Many of the guests commented on how much they loved the book-themed idea. It set the tone for the shower and made it feel extra special. Plus, the mom-to-be ended up with a wonderful start to a book library for her new little one.
